Sleepy Moon

Sleepy Moon

Go to sleep my sweet one
I shall send you a dream
The story of our union
The beginning of our means
On a riverbank in the passion of heat
Shaded by a tree, our bodies meet
Roots entwined, gradually they grow
Under the earth, the motion slow
Water trickles in a spring nearby
Fingernails down your spine
Water splashes along the edge
Desires peaking and keeping time
The winds tempo pick up speed
A storm brewing sensing the need
Thunder sounds, the earth quakes
Demands met, bodies shake
Nature sedated, peaceful and tired
Passions are cooled, all has retired
Eyes are drooping, sleepy moon
Cuddling up under the stars
We croon

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
