Birthplace of Light

I am ready to fly, to a secret get-away

Off to the South Sea

Where the sun always shines, even when it rains

The wind is always soothing

No one ever complains

I breath in the breeze

How it soothes the soul

It opens up new senses

Something magnificent to behold

To become the wind

To soar across the sea

My most perfect place

When the time comes and I must leave thee

Our tears create ocean

Salted with life and vigorous flavor

Shadows are playful, no place for danger

I will take no baggage

Nothing to hold me down

My wings will always soar

My shell mixes with the ground

To be within the pulse of nature

To arrive to this plateau

To live in a dream

To be brave enough

To go!

To go!

To go with the flow

It’s the way of the river

The path of the wind

This birthplace of light

The soul’s birthright

We must guide ourselves here

Release the inner beauty

Be magnificent

Become ethereal

Travel with the stardust

Take hold of my hand

Let your feet touch new sand

Find your secret get-away

Your place beside the sea

When the time is right

Come travel with me

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.

    I love the line
‘Let your feet touch new sand’ I love the whole poem but that line is particularly lovely. 🙂
