The Great Design

Smoke rises from the candle

It was lit in ancient times

The flame will never go out

It is part of the great design

Time is a puzzle

Chiseled within the stone

Past, present and future

Placed before the throne

One soul was created

Divided by two

Identical opposites

In the form of me and you

Asleep in the pyramid

Awaiting our time

Our names have been called

The smoke rises, serpentine

Around the candle

Entwined and wrapped

Electric exchange

No turning back

The flame is burning

It goes up in smoke

Into the air it carries

Surrounding us both

Revealing to each

What we should expect

Focus and ground

Our dreams will come true

No moment of regret

No more than we can handle

We must follow the path

Carved and construed

The flame is burning

It goes up in smoke

Into the air it carries

Surrounding us both

A wave of the wand

Chant three times three

Our story about to unfold

The life of you and me

A baring of our souls

With a poof of smoke

And a loud clap

We awake in a new land

It is broad and flat

We begin to wonder

A new Adam and Eve

A beautiful Garden of Eden

My life to spend with thee

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
