Magic Garden

Every night I go out to tend to my garden

All is perfect, no smog or clouds

No pollution or debris

Everything looking hand polished and carefree

I open a jar and scoop up the glow

I open another to catch a falling star

The perfect night for some Moon gardening

The perfect night to enjoy her bounty

I hear the crickets and frogs

I picture them jumping and falling off old logs

I look out and see the fireflies

Too many to count they zip through the air

Natures stars on earth, parallel to the sky

The magic of the garden grows in the night

I harvest moonbeams and the crickets song

Canned in Mason jars, on a shelf, glowing bright

The magic of the night grows in my garden

Wild with nature and summer’s breeze

Tended with loved and shaded by trees

All is perfect, no smog or clouds

No pollution or debris

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
