Walking the shoreline

Allowing my thoughts to wander

Sitting by the seaside

Waves crashing

As I ponder

My thoughts

Drawing pictures in the sand

Happy times with my boys

Playing, laughter and other joys

The sound of the sea

A song to my years

Playing my past

Singing the years

My happy times

Paint pictures in the sand

Along with a few of the sad

Happy times

Washed out to sea

Telling a story

Living forever

And there is the sad

Damp salty tears

Memories dappled in fear

Rising up toward the sky

An angry wave

On the fly

Screaming in the wind

As it comes to the shore

It swallows all in site

Constant reminder

Tears of the past

Forgotten broadcast

Burial out to sea

In deep, dark, cold waters

Spellbound, I stand

While sad memories

Wiped out of my past

Forever gone

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
