Soul Spinning

Spinning souls, round and round

Not much care, tossing around

A soul is the sun

Bright shiny, warm and well spun

It is not something to be treated poorly

Spinning around like some toy

It should be treasured

The soul of life

The soul of the moon

The soul of the sky

The soul of the sun

Without the soul there is no one

Hollow and empty

Cold and dark

Wondering aimlessly

Never making my mark

No place in time

My name never heard

To love, to laugh, to touch, to taste

I want my place but my soul keeps spinning

Where does it stop? Where does it start?

There is no beginning, only an ending

Ending in a spiral, spinning faster

And faster

Spinning a soul

Spinning disaster

Help me, save me!

I want my place in time

My soul is worth saving

It is full of love

It is kind

Give it a chance

Bless my soul

Stop the spinning

Let my story unfold

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.

You capture the emotion so well, Nae.
