Windbows and Fairies

The sun glowed brightly

A welcome sight it was

When suddenly a gust came to pass

I was swept up and encompassed

At first I was in great fear

Until I heard the chimes

The chimes of the wind

Gently they beckoned me in

I was amazed by the colors

The colors of the wind

I never knew wind was colorful

A Windbow, I was wrapped in

The colors are rich, warm and sunny

Breezy, magical and balmy

It swept me off my feet

Took me for a ride

To another world

On the other side

The wind stays colorful

So do the leaves

A mystical place

So much here to please

So pleasant to the eye

And to the nose too

I’d like to stay here

Just for a time or two

A herd of unicorn

Just galloped on by

Followed by an array

Of Fairies

Soaring with butterflies

The clouds are getting thicker

In this wondrous land

Puffy like pillows

To carry me away

Climbing aboard

Drifting away

Where I shall awake

To a brand new day

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
