I have trouble believing the ignorance even though this is a “girl”.

OTTAWA • A Saskatchewan woman, who gave birth into a Walmart toilet and, thinking the baby was dead, left it there, is a “very good mother” who hopes to get custody of the child, her lawyer said Thursday.

“There was never any question, once she knew that the baby was alive, that she wanted that child,” lawyer Valerie Harvey told Postmedia News in the lobby of the Supreme Court of Canada after judges had heard arguments in the case.
