Sea Shepherd

The Shepherd of the Sea

Walks the waters every night

She can only be seen

Under the moonlit night

She guards the sea’s hidden treasures

Depriving man on any pleasures

*

She also watches the land of the Mer

Protecting them in a well hidden cave

From the science of man

Who would take them away

Slowly killing them one by one

As they poked and prodded

Having their fun

At the cost of the Merman

Who has caused man no harm

At the cost of the Mermaid

Her purity blemished

Her eggs taken and ravished

Creating a  Mercreature

Inside of a surrogate

*

The maiden’s tears

Would be heard by the clan

Igniting a war

Across the land

The Sea Shepherd

Protects with her magic

Hiding the Merpeople

Her utmost project

The death of these people

Would tip evolution

Destroying other sea life

Entrapped by man’s pollution

Next thing you know

There is deadly revolution

Upsetting the world

Upsetting all lands

Mass destruction and havoc

In man’s

Bloody hands

*

And so….

The Shepherd of the Sea

Walks the waters every night

Magically hidden from all eyesight

But she is always there

Eternally devoted

All Mankind

Beware, It is so noted!

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
