Soul In The Sky

I will cross over into a new dimension

Through a door I never opened

To a world beyond comprehension

It was not locked, always right there

In plain sight, where I can not see it

A home awaiting me, not so far away

In a blink of the eye, On a cloud I’ll sit

Enjoying myself, where light is exquisite

The best of all is the morning moon

There to greet me like an old friend

So beautiful, and hard to comprehend

The moon follows as if on guard

Watching over me, protecting me from harm

As if my soul is hanging in the sky

Much like Christmas lights

Decorated so beautifully

It puts a tear in my eye

The morning moon

Carries my soul

Encased inside

Never to be hurt

Making sure to hold me

To love me, cradled like a baby

Fresh after birth

A nursery in the sky

Strung with the stars

Forever shining brightly

Within reach, never too far

Diamond like stars

Completely surrounding me

Making me feel

Like a movie star

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
