Crystal Wind

The crystal wind blows through the trees

Will it break under the breeze

It chimes as it hits the branches and leaves

Sounds like a woman as it blows through the shutters

Delicate and frail it sounds to the ear

But she fools you, she is stronger than she appears

Tackles the leaves covered in ice

A winter melody orchestrated

Perfect and nice

She blows through an old house

Abandoned for years

Reputed to be haunted

For ghosts party goers

Coming out at night

Drinking, dancing and putting on a show

Putting on a fright

The wind will blow

Making the curtains dance

Scaring passersby

Frozen into a trance

Crystal wind continues to blow

Enjoying her bone chilling job

Keeping her young as a sprite

She happily goes on

Giving kids a fright

Continues to chime through the air

Songs she has written and plays

Year after year

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
