Wind Bags And Hags

Nae's Nest —  July 14, 2012 — 1 Comment

The wind from the North

came over

What a big chill

Soon joined by the East and West

What is the mystery?

Soon the South

came blowing in

Her winds nice and warm

Suddenly a shouting match

Of wind and thunderstorm

Didn’t someone

tell these guys

They can not all

speak at once?

For if they do

Bad tempers

will brew

As Mother Nature

gets upset

Causing her

to twist with rage

Sometimes reigning with hail

A price we  pay

Please make them leave

with the next gale

Blow off steaming

Loud and boisterous

Each wind such a bag

Condemning us

with tornadoes

These guys

are real hags

Finally they left

With a thunder-clap

Along with a

foul word or two

Clear skies and singing birds

Are left behind

All is good

and all

Is fine

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
