Sapphire Moon

Sweetly she sings

She calls me

To come forth

Beckons to me

Lowers the sword

I am offered a seat

At the base of her feet

Humbly I accept

Just at the water’s edge

The tide is coming in

Washing my feet

Salt water and sedge

My head lowers

I begin to weep

A sapphire moon

Rises up to greet

A beautiful sky

Dusk claiming the tide

Tipping the bowl

The water runs out

And into my soul

Washing my senses

Making them pure

The tide begins to sing

I listen, it allures

She welcomes me

Says this is my song

Beneath the sapphire moon

Listening to her sing

Within the salt water

I finally belong

The water rising

The bowl tips

The water feels warm

Rises to my hips

It makes my skin tingle

I raise my face

Toward the sapphire moon

I collect shells

And a few stones

They are to be used

These are a gifts

She offers to me

I may call unto her

Swim in her waters

Immersing myself

Into her wonders

Her music plays

The tide rises more

I am tipped with the bowl

And onto the shore

Gently placed

Back on land

Until she calls

Me again

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
