Yarning A Spin

A lifetime and more

I’ve spent in search of you

Funny thing is, I never knew

I did not know you were the one

So much like me, one of life’s puns

The mind thinks it knows what’s best

Often choosing to look the wrong way

Sometimes never finding an end to this quest

Refusing to trust and to look within

Our answers are always there

If only we look, be still and listen

The answers are in the trees, the earth and the wind

We need only an open heart to begin

And a faith for something unseen

But felt just the same

Just allow it to come in

To guide, to allow the quest to end

And so I did…..And here you are…

Hidden within

My ink and my pen

Smiling, joking, writing

Yarning a spin

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
