Places Everyone!

Act 1, Scene 1
Enter stage left
The mask of death
Grimly he crawls from stage left
Mask full of terror
Wreaking of death
Seeking his target
Fair maiden whose kind
Seeking to steal
Kidnap her time
Stalking the maiden
Invading her being
Unknown to her
Reaper is feeding
Slashing at flesh
From the inside
Nice cozy home
Where he can hide
Temperature perfect
Warm and moist
Ideal place
Wonderful choice
Raising a family
As cells grow
Mutants planted
In a row
Curtain calls
Places please!
Innocent maiden
Full of disease
Fight to live
Innocent girl
Reaper severed
From your world
Weapon of choice
Chemical war
After all mutants
Until they deplore
Remission completed
Ending in sight
No more scenes
Ending her plight
Reaper is caged
Do no more harm
Victory won
No cause for alarm
All is happy
Until one day
News comes in
He’s here to stay
Loving his role
Refusing to leave
Hiding in places
Easy to deceive
Final scene
Is it curtains?
Ending unknown
Writer uncertain
Reaper has ganged
Lots of land
Taking maiden’s
Future plans
Balled in his fist
Tossed away
Meaning nothing
Another play
Enjoying the swim
Throughout the glands
Gathering riches
Of Maiden’s land
Enjoying the party
Uninvited guest
Feeding away
No time for rest
Maiden so tired
Needing to sleep
Reaper just started
Eating a treat
Happy ending
Is much-needed
Kill the reaper
Audience pleaded
Audience left
Wanting more
No one knows
What’s in store
Hanging on cliff
Riveting show
Curtain draws
And they close

I find myself "Dancing With Cancer", problem is...I can't dance. I stumble, bumble, and get pulled along. To keep my sanity, (humor me), I write short stories, a journal, musings and poetry....just about anything goes.
